Water Bike Adventures Made More Inclusive
Glide Rides is built on the belief that memorable experiences should be open to as many people as possible. We welcome guests of different abilities and backgrounds and aim to create tours that feel supportive, calm, and enjoyable from start to finish.
Because every person’s needs are different, accessibility at Glide Rides is approached with flexibility, care, and open communication.
Before You Book
If you or someone in your group has additional support needs, we strongly encourage getting in touch before booking. This allows us to:
- Talk through any mobility, sensory, or health considerations.
- Explain exactly what the experience involves.
- Recommend the most suitable tour and conditions.
- Plan extra time or assistance if required.
A quick conversation helps us set you up for the best possible experience.
Water Bikes & Riding Experience
Our water bikes are designed to be calm, steady, and intuitive.
- The twin-hull design provides strong stability on the water.
- Riding is low-impact, with no balance skills required.
- Seats and handlebars can be adjusted for comfort.
Most guests find the ride relaxing rather than physically demanding. Our guides are always nearby to offer support if needed.
On the Day of Your Tour
Our guides take time to ensure everyone feels comfortable before heading out.
You can expect:
- A clear, unhurried safety briefing.
- Assistance getting on and off the water bike if required.
- A relaxed pace suited to the group.
- Regular check-ins throughout the tour.
We prioritise calm conditions and choose routes that allow guests to enjoy the lake without pressure.
Support People & Assistance
Guests are welcome to attend with a support person. We accept the NSW Companion Card. If this applies to your booking, let us know in advance.
Service animals can be discussed on a case-by-case basis depending on tour type and conditions.
Accessibility isn’t a finished project. It’s something we actively work to improve.
